Its possible that you wouldn't have arrived at this page without already knowing something about Chris Nagle. In short, Nagle was legendary producer Martin Hannett's right hand man, in house engineer at Stockport's Strawberry Recording Studios from the late 70s to the late 80s, and a highly influential and successful record producer in his own right.

Chris Nagle's recording credits include engineering Joy Division, The Ramones, The Stone Roses, New Order, Pauline Murray, Echo & The Bunnymen and Happy Mondays; mixing OMD, Magazine and Killing Joke and producing The Wedding Present, The Durutti Column, The Charlatans, Inspiral Carpets and many many more.

Throughout the 1980s and 90s Chris Nagle was reponsible for recording so many great records that we can't list them all here. The most exhaustive and accurate discographies can be found at allmusic.com and Discogs

Chris did not make this site - I've worked with Chris many times over the last 20+ years and put this up in an effort to connect him with the outside world. Chris Nagle is a brilliant engineer and producer but also an accomplished recluse. The email link here does go direct to Nagle's inbox, but whether he checks it or replies is beyond my control.

If you get no response email me and I'll go round and tap on his window.
